Mission Healthcare

We’re on a mission to put healthcare back into the hands of women.

Every woman has a story.
We’re ready to listen.

I felt like I failed because I didn’t know how common miscarriages were because we don’t talk about them… We sit in our own pain, thinking somehow that we’re broken.

There are societal pressures and unrealistic expectations surrounding motherhood. Creating a supportive work environment and community for women navigating decisions about motherhood is crucial.

I said that everything was fine when in fact they weren’t going fine. I was plowing on, not admitting that things were tough. What I was struggling with was the new identity - not really acknowledging that our life changed with the baby. I couldn’t really land in the new situation.

One of the biggest challenges for me was postpartum. I never got officially diagnosed so I took everything that was happening to me personally. No body told me that these negative feelings and thoughts feelings will come. I wish someone would have told me - be prepared, don’t panic if you have this.

I felt not good enough as an employee and a mom. I felt alone, like I was failing all the time… in addition to hearing stories from others, it would be helpful to have more practical strategies on balancing work and motherhood.
